A 10-Day Silent Retreat in English with individual teacher interviews each day to support your practice.
The retreat takes you deep inside your mind with the help of Buddha’s own original discourses known as Suttas. It's a way to deal with everyday problems of life and find peace within while living in world and in day-to-day life. Sukhita Yoga will support and enhance your developing practice by teaching you how to integrate your body into your meditation to provide essential feedback to keep you on track.
The Buddha has taught an ‘easy to understand’ practice that is comfortable, light and fun to learn. It leads you down the Noble Path to understand the true teaching. This teaching has both, “Samatha” (Tranquil Wisdom) and “Vipassana” (Insight) woven into the practice. Lay people can practice his antidote for suffering to manage the challenges they face in today’s world. By changing our minds, we change our lives.

All the facilities are provided to support your practice allowing you to concentrate on your practice. To register follow this link: www.mahabodhimeditation.org (registration opens in Nov).

This weekend is about returning to love, joy and happiness with forgiveness and gratitude.
Forgiveness is a return to love and helps us heal the stress and trauma we've been carrying.
Gratitude is a return to joy and happiness and helps us create a different future to put more love into the whole.
We will be exploring how to be more in balance, releasing from tension and moving towards space. These are small group practice opportunities and it's always inspiring to see what gets left behind after a weekend together.
You will be learning forgiveness and gratitude practices discovering the approaches which help us:
- overcome resistance to forgive
- find freedom to express gratitude
- relax into a deeper experience of tension release
- learn to recognise lack of generosity to yourself and be more inwardly generous
- learn how to meet kindly challenging mental states (ill-will, cruelty, discontent and aversion)
- support your emotional and somatic healing and mental wellbeing
- re-balance in a way that feels inwardly supportive, natural and unhurried
- experience the importance of space in healing
- understand how habit inhibits healing and practice towards ease, inner happiness and peace
- experience how body literacy unlocks healing
- look after your energy
- prepare for the 6 month Wholesome Body Wholesome Mind Course
£275, £245, £195 suggested contributions to support this project
"...very insightful and deep understanding of where generosity comes from and how we see it and use it. It's been so open and honest an experience. I've come away completed grounded and self assured and reconnected with my true self"
"The intensives have given me a wonderful opportunity to understand, deepen and develop my practice in a loving, generous and supportive environment. The inspirational teaching is an invitation to uncover a personal freedom and spaciousness through meditative yoga which is at it's heart, simple, nurturing and quietly life changing - it echoes through my daily life long after each intensive is over." We hold regular weekend meditations in nature. Our last event took place in the beautiful grounds of Wroxton Abbey where we used the landscape within the gardens to explore the impact deep listening in nature has on our meditation practice. Working through the elements and our senses we investigated how the natural world can guide us in our own path to balance. The variety of landscape here made this a wonderful location to explore our practice.

I just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous week in Devon. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and left feeling considerably more peaceful and centered than when we arrived. Dicky and I have started doing your eight minute morning routine and loving it. Mel
