Hugh was very flexible in terms of scheduling sessions around my travel commitments, but the main benefit for me was the intense personalisation Hugh carefully designed into the programme for me.
Working with Hugh has had a profound effect on me. I am very much calmer in my approach to my work, which is of a very intense and all-consuming nature with a huge amount of overseas travel. I used to carry quite a bit of anxiety around my performance in my work, and Hugh really helped me to first manage this anxiety, and then to dissipate it. I feel not only much calmer, but generally healthier and more alive. Having spent the past several years dealing with the excitement and passion, and also the stress, of growing a new start-up company I felt the need to find more harmony in my work-life balance. While I can't honestly say I've yet attained this goal (it's a work in progress - and likely always will be) the experience with Hugh was excellent, and I would highly recommend him.

I found Hugh to be extremely intelligent, highly perceptive and extremely easygoing and pleasant to talk to. Our sessions could be described as a mashup of mindfulness and meditation techniques, self-awareness and corporate coaching, all flowing easily back and forth over the course of our 90 minutes together.
I greatly appreciated not only Hugh's teachings of mindfulness techniques but also the way in which he rendered them practical for use by a busy CEO with very limited time. Hugh was also great at relating the teachings back to challenges in both my personal and work lives - his intuition and understanding of my needs were spot-on. As a result, even though our 8-week course has finished I've decided to continue working with Hugh indefinitely on a follow-up basis - his visits allow me the time to "check-in" with myself, as he might say, for some much-needed personal reflection.
So much did I believe in the benefit of working with Hugh that I had him speak to my fellow executives recently at our annual off-site meeting, on the subject of mindfulness and work-life balance.
